It stormed all day. All daaaay. Like loud thunder, flickering the lights type of storm. You can even see it in the wedding party portraits. I figured the bride, Lesley, would be bummed about it. I walked up to the attic where she was getting dressed and she greeted me with the most radiant, joyful smile. We made the best with what we had and honestly, we killed it.
The storm and aesthetic of the attic space made for the coolest mood during the first look and the ceremony was the most beautiful worship experience. I even remember crying throughout because of how tangible their love was.
Then as we stepped outside after the ceremony, the sun was just there waiting for us, inviting us out to rejoice. I walked away from this weekend feeling so full. So thankful.
Also, did I mention they served pizza as their main course….I die.
