Beautiful souls which choose to celebrate their beautiful love with me. It’s something I take for granted. I can easily become cynical of my job. When people say “oh you must love working!” I often think “Well it’s a lot to deal with most days”. But sitting here now in the room my clients rented for me so that I could shoot their California wedding, I am in realization with just how blessed I am. I am living the dream 17-year-old Kristen had. The same dream that first fueled the small passion to make money all the while doing something that I felt empowered and fulfilled in.

So I’m looking forward in thankfulness, no matter how tiring it can be. No matter how many weekends I miss that I could be with my friends and family. The countless weddings of my friends I’ve had to miss because I was documenting someone else’s. The endless emails and constant contact I have with so many people.

I choose to walk in thankfulness because this job truly is one of a kind.
