I shouldn’t have been surprised, but I was.

To receive a bottle of my favorite gin on their wedding day and watch them invite their guests on the dance floor during the first dance, I was in awe. I can still hear the jazz take on the beloved Jungle Book song, I Wanna To Be Like You, and get the warm feeling I had inside. Watching them dance in circles, singing at the top of their lungs to the most perfect song ever just did something to me.

They thought out each and every detail for their friends and myself. But I guess that’s what being Scottish and British folks do. They care about taking the time to celebrate. Our first meal together lasted well over an hour and a half. Just laughing and telling stories, as complete strangers. After their engagement session, they were quick to invite me in for a Gin and Tonic. I mean how could anyone pass up the generosity and kindness of that? I hope you enjoy this European style garden wedding as much as I did. In fact, I teared up telling them goodbye on the dance floor. I wanted to celebrate all night with them. Their love and genuine care for their friends and family was simple intoxicating.
